Ideal Tecno MIG 203 LED MIG/TIG/MMA Synergic + TIG ACX is an inverter synergic MIG/MAG welder for MIG/MAG, TIG Lift, MMA and self-shielded wire (FLUX) welding. You can use it to braze galvanised sheet and to weld stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels and aluminium. It runs on 230 V and delivers up to 200 A in MIG and TIG and up to 160 A in MMA. Besides the MIG 15 torch, the set includes a TIG 17 torch, 4 m long.

Features
Welding processes and materials
The manufacturer designed it for jobs ranging from maintenance work to car body repairs. You weld with inert gas, active gas or a mixture as shielding. With self-shielded wire (FLUX) you weld without gas, with reverse polarity. With the supplied TIG 17 torch you weld TIG Lift, and in MMA mode you weld with a coated electrode.
2T and 4T operation
In MIG/MAG you choose the torch trigger mode. In 2T you weld as long as you hold the trigger. In 4T the trigger latches, which makes long welds easier.
LED display
You set and read the parameters on the LED display. It stays readable even under very strong lighting, so you can set the machine precisely in a brightly lit workshop as well.
VRD in MMA mode
In MMA mode you can switch on the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function. It lowers the open-circuit voltage on the electrode to a safe level and protects you against electric shock in damp surroundings.
Construction
A fan cools the inside, and a protection circuit guards the machine against overload. The machine has a factory-fitted mains plug.
