Ideal Tecno MIG 205 LCD MIG/TIG/MMA Synergic 4x4 is an inverter synergic MIG/MAG welder for MIG/MAG, TIG Lift, MMA and self-shielded wire (FLUX) welding. You can use it to braze galvanised sheet and to weld stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels and aluminium. It has a 4-roll wire feeder, an LCD display and four MIG/MAG modes. It runs on 230 V, and the current reaches 200 A in MIG and TIG and 180 A in MMA.

Features
Four MIG/MAG modes
SYN is the synergic mode and MAN the manual one. COLD limits the heat input and is meant for thin materials. FMIG raises output and welding speed.
Synergic control on the LCD display
In synergic mode you set the material thickness, and the arc control system matches the parameters to the welding position and the material. You can correct the arc length manually to get the weld appearance you want. On the LCD you also set inductance, wire run-in and burnback, gas post-flow and spot weld time.
2T, 4T, S4T and SPOT trigger modes
2T works without latching the trigger, and 4T latches it for long welds. S4T is 4T with additional start and end current settings. SPOT is for spot welding.
4-roll wire feeder
Four rolls feed the wire steadily, which matters when you weld aluminium. The feeder also copes with welding torches 5 m long.
MMA with VRD
In MMA mode you adjust ARC FORCE and HOT START. You switch the VRD function on and off. It lowers the open-circuit voltage on the electrode to a safe level, which helps in high humidity.
Construction
A fan cools the inside, and a protection circuit guards the machine against overload. The machine has a factory-fitted mains plug.
