Tecno MIG 281 S-Pulse Synergic is an Ideal synergic inverter MIG welder that runs on a three-phase 400 V supply. You use it for MIG/MAG, pulse MIG, self-shielded wire (Flux) and coated electrode (MMA) welding. MIG/MAG current reaches 280 A, and a 4-roll wire feeder drives 0.8 to 1.2 mm wire. The manufacturer designed it for jobs from maintenance to car body repairs.

Features
Four welding processes
You select the process on the clear LED panel: MMA, Manual MIG, Synergic MIG or Pulse MIG. You weld carbon, low-alloy and stainless steel. You work with inert gas, active gas or a mixture, and with self-shielded wire without gas, on reverse polarity.
Pulse MIG
On this model, pulse is for welding mild steel with a single pulse, using 0.8, 1.0 or 1.2 mm wire. The weld comes out better in any welding position, and there is less spatter.
Trigger modes and inductance
In MIG/MAG you choose how the torch trigger works: 2T without latch or 4T with trigger latch for long welds. The MIG/MAG processes also give you inductance adjustment.
MMA: ARC FORCE, HOT START and VRD
In MMA you adjust ARC FORCE and HOT START. The VRD function lowers the open-circuit voltage at the electrode to a safe level, so you can work in humid surroundings. You switch VRD on or off as needed.
Design
A fan cools the inside, and overload protection guards the machine. The wire feeder takes 5 kg and 15 kg spools. The machine has a mains plug.
