The Migatronic Flex 4000 is an inverter MIG/MAG power source up to 400 A, liquid cooled. At a 60% cycle the machine gives 400 A, and it pulls 300 A without stopping. You have a choice of synergy, double synergy, pulse and double pulse.
What this machine is for
This is a power source for a workshop and for production, where mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium are welded. The memory holds programs for different metals, so once you point out the material, the wire and the gas the machine sets the starting values. A current of 300 A at a 100% cycle sets the pace of long work, and 400 A at a 60% cycle stays for thicker sections.
Pulse tears the droplet off with a current pulse, so you get less spatter. Double pulse lays a slower change of the current level over that, so the face comes out as a regular ripple and the material overheats less.
Double synergy gives two current levels in one synergic mode, which helps when the thickness of the material changes along the weld.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V, and to start it you need a power connection. The cooling is by liquid, so check the fluid level, the flow and the tightness of the circuit before the first weld, because work with no flow ruins the torch. You get the full 400 A at a 60% cycle, and for continuous work stay with 300 A.
The card does not list a torch, an earth cable or an interconnection package, so confirm the equipment before you buy. For aluminium prepare rolls for soft wire and a guide liner, because without them the wire jams in the path.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
