The Migatronic Flex 400 is an industrial MIG/MAG inverter with pulse and synergy, with an MMA mode. The welding current reaches 400 A, and at a 100% duty cycle at 40 degrees Celsius the machine holds 300 A.
What this machine is for
The power source works in steel prefabrication, at container makers and in firms welding aluminium. A current of 400 A with liquid cooling lets you lay long welds with 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm wires without overheating the components, and the 300 A at a 100% duty cycle sets the level for continuous work.
The pulse limits spatter, which counts on high alloy steels and on aluminium, where the weld face is judged by quality control and every bit of spatter means extra work after welding. The memory holds programs for AlMg and AlSi alloys, so you weld aluminium without burning through thin sections.
The wire feeder is external and has four rolls, with a long cable package, so you move around a large structure while the power source stands in one place. The four roll drive keeps the wire feed even, and that decides the arc stability in pulsed welding.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V and the description gives no fuse rating, so agree the connection with an electrician. Cooling runs on liquid in an integrated system: check the coolant level, the pump and the torch hoses before the first weld. How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
