The Migatronic Flex 400 is a liquid cooled MIG/MAG inverter power source up to 400 A. At a 45% duty cycle the machine gives 400 A, and it runs 300 A without a break. You can choose a synergic mode, pulse, a manual mode and MMA welding with covered electrodes.
What this machine is for
This is a power source for a workshop and for production, where you weld steel and aluminium and sometimes have to reach for a covered electrode. The memory holds programs for steel and aluminium, and the MMA mode stays for repairs and for places the wire will not reach. The 300 A at a 100% duty cycle sets the pace of long runs, and the 400 A at a 45% duty cycle stays for thicker sections.
The panel gives access to the full welding sequence, so you set the stages of the process from the start to the end of the weld. You save your own settings in the memory and call them up on repeat jobs, which shortens the changeover between orders. The wire feeder has four rollers and keeps an even feed also with soft aluminium wire.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V. Cooling is by liquid, so check the fluid level, the flow and the tightness of the quick couplings before you start. The interconnection cable is 2 m, so the wire feeder stands next to the power source, and the reach is set by the 4 m torch; for work further away you need a longer package. The torch is rated 500 A, that is a reserve above the current of the power source. The record does not give the weight or the dimensions, so arrange transport before collection.
How we sell used machines
This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
