SPARTUS® EasyCUT 40s Compressor is a compact inverter plasma cutter made for cutting metals and any material that conducts electricity, joining current technology with a light, handy housing. It runs from a single-phase 230V mains. SPARTUS® EasyCUT 40s Compressor works both as a plasma cutter and as a stick welder.

PLASMA CUTTING

EasyCUT 40s Compressor lets you set the cutting current between 20 and 40A, so it matches what the job needs. The maximum thickness of the cut material is 20mm. The unit has two trigger modes, 2T/4T, and post-gas adjustment. The built-in non-contact pilot arc ignition without HF keeps cut quality high and extends the life of the wear parts.

The integrated internal compressor delivers the compressed air needed to form the plasma arc, which makes work away from a workshop possible. A button on the front panel switches the compressed air source without tools.

The cutter has 2 working modes:

• STANDARD CUTTING is the basic mode, in which the plasma jet cuts the material without a break, so metal or other conductive material can be cut quickly and accurately to a set shape and size. This is the option chosen most often for work that needs smooth, even cut edges.
• INTERRUPTED CUTTING is a specialist mode that pays off when cutting material with an uneven surface, such as mesh. With this function the cutter holds a stable plasma arc even when contact with the material breaks. Cutting goes on without restarting the arc by hand at every gap, which is the usual problem when working on mesh and similar material. Interrupted cutting mode makes the job easier and faster and at the same time lowers the risk of damaging the unit through repeated arc losses and restarts. Output rises noticeably, because the cut stays smooth and effective even on awkward, demanding parts.

WELDING

EasyCUT 40s Compressor also welds with covered electrodes. MMA welding is used in many conditions and suits steel and cast iron. The welding current on the EasyCUT 40s Compressor is adjustable from 30 to 140A, so the settings can be matched to different welding jobs. The unit also carries functions that support the MMA process, such as HOT START, ARC FORCE and VRD.
