SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse
mobile Dual Pulse technology and industrial capability powered from 230V
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is a modern inverter wire welder built for users who expect advanced welding functions, high weld quality and maximum mobility. Thanks to the single-phase 230V supply the machine can work practically anywhere a standard mains socket is available, while keeping parameters typical of much larger workshop and industrial machines.
Maximum welding current of 250A in MIG/TIG and 220A in MMA gives the power needed for daily workshop, assembly and service work. The compact build, high output and the option of running large wire spools mean that the SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse combines the mobility of a 230V machine with the comfort and output of much bigger wire welders.
The machine supports MIG/MAG in manual, synergic, Pulse and Dual Pulse mode, as well as TIG Lift and MMA. It handles plain structural steel welding and also the more demanding jobs on stainless steel or aluminium, where arc energy control, limited distortion and a clean weld face are what counts.
MIG/MAG welding, more control, better weld quality
The main working area of the SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is advanced MIG/MAG, designed around a steady arc, quick setup and repeatable results. The operator can work in manual mode, with full freedom over the settings, or use the synergic programs, which set the parameters automatically for the material, the wire diameter and the shielding gas.
The key advantage of the machine is the ability to work in Pulse and Dual Pulse mode. Pulsed transfer lets you control precisely how much energy goes into the material, which gives a steadier arc, less spatter and better control of the weld pool. Dual Pulse also produces the stacked bead appearance known from TIG welding, while keeping the high deposition rate of the MIG/MAG process. It works particularly well on aluminium and stainless steel, where limiting heat input and controlling distortion decide the quality of the final result. Adjustment of the pulse parameters, the pulse frequency and the background current lets you match the arc behaviour exactly to the material and to the technological requirements.
The machine offers advanced torch trigger modes: 2T, 4T, S2T, S4T and SPOT. The classic 2T and 4T modes suit short or long welds, while the extended S2T and S4T modes give control over the start and the end of the process. The operator can manage arc ignition, start current, end parameters and crater filling precisely.
SPOT mode produces repeatable spot welds and improves accuracy on parts that need welding time control. Inductance adjustment matches the arc character to the material and the welding position, from a softer arc to a more dynamic and concentrated one. In practice this means better penetration control, less spatter and a more stable process.
The SPARTUS XPro MIG 260DP also offers detailed control over the welding sequence. The operator can adjust parameters such as pre-flow and post-flow gas, Soft Start, arc start and end parameters or Burn Back, which controls the correct end of wire feeding. The Slow Feed function gives a controlled start of the wire feed, improving ignition stability and working comfort.
Synergic programs
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse offers synergic programs for the most commonly used materials and applications. The machine works with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and self-shielded flux cored wire, among others. Synergy lets the operator start faster and then correct the parameters according to his own experience and the requirements of the specific joint. It combines automatic settings with conscious control of the process.

Built-in 4-roll wire feeder
The machine has a built-in 4-roll wire feeder that guides the wire steadily and smoothly even with longer torches or more demanding welding wires. Stable feeding translates directly into weld quality, working comfort and process repeatability.
The feeder has a practical viewing window and internal lighting, which makes it easier to check the spool, the wire path and the roller settings. A storage place for spare rollers keeps the most important accessories at hand.
The SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse also works with a Spool Gun torch, which makes work with soft aluminium wires considerably more comfortable.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is marked by high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which means stable operation without interference in a demanding industrial environment. The machine was designed not to affect other machines and control systems, while staying resistant to external interference. That gives reliable operation around automation, robots and modern production installations.
PFC technology, stable operation and better supply efficiency
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is equipped with a PFC circuit (Power Factor Correction), which improves the use of energy and the stability of the machine. Active power factor correction reduces energy losses, lowers the load on the mains and gives more stable welding parameters even when working with long extension cables or in places with a less stable supply. In practice PFC means:
- higher resistance to voltage fluctuations,
- a more stable plasma arc,
- lower current draw from the mains,
- better energy efficiency,
- more comfortable work in the field and with a power generator.
This matters especially for mobile users, assembly crews and workshops working in demanding supply conditions, where the stability of the machine has a direct influence on the quality and the continuity of the work.
20 memory channels, repeatability without lost time
The machine offers 20 memory channels for storing your own welding parameter settings. That helps a lot with repeatable parts, different materials or fixed production tasks. The operator can save proven configurations and return to them quickly, without setting all the parameters again. The result is shorter preparation time, less risk of a mistake and higher process repeatability.
Easy operation and a clear LCD panel
The modern control panel with a clear LCD display gives quick access to the main functions and parameters. The interface guides you through the choice of process, material, wire diameter and additional settings, so operation stays intuitive even with the extended capabilities of the machine.
During welding the display shows the key working parameters, so you can follow the process and react quickly to the requirements of a given job.
TIG Lift Pulse - advanced parameter control
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is not limited to MIG/MAG welding. TIG Lift mode allows precise TIG DC welding with contact arc ignition, without high frequency HF. This is a practical solution wherever more control over the process and a clean weld appearance are needed.
The XPro MIG series takes the TIG Lift capability a step further. The machine was equipped with an advanced TIG Lift Pulse function with pulse mode and access to extended settings of the welding sequence, including adjustment of the pulse frequency and the pulse width. This allows even more precise control of the welding arc, the heat input and the weld characteristics, which users working with thinner materials or demanding details will appreciate.
Besides standard support for TIG torches with a gas valve, SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse also works with TIG torches with handle control and a EURO connector. The operator can control the welding process comfortably without taking a hand off the torch, which improves comfort and ergonomics. In this option, besides the 2T and 4T modes, the machine also offers 8T mode for an extended torch control cycle. This makes a multi-stage welding process easier to run and reduces the need to hold the torch trigger down, increasing operator comfort.
MMA Pulse and intelligent process control
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse offers an extended MMA Pulse process for more control over the welding arc, stable operation and a better match between the welding characteristic, the working conditions and operator preference. The machine also has functions that support comfort and quality such as: Hot Start - easier electrode ignition, Arc Force - arc stabilisation during welding, VRD - more safety through reduced open circuit voltage.
The XPro MIG series additionally offers two advanced MMA characteristics: constant current and constant power.
MMA Constant Current, a stable and predictable arc
In MMA Constant Current mode the machine holds the welding current steady regardless of changes in arc length or working conditions. This gives high process stability, makes electrode handling easier and produces repeatable weld quality. Automatic holding of the set current reduces the need for constant correction by the operator, which increases comfort and makes the welding process easier to control.
MMA Constant Power, intelligent parameter matching
MMA Constant Power mode adjusts the output voltage and current dynamically to keep the welding power constant. The machine adapts its behaviour automatically to changes in arc length and process conditions. This increases welding stability, simplifies operation and allows a faster match of the working parameters to different materials and welding positions. The operator sets the expected power and the machine optimises the remaining process parameters automatically.
Compact build and mobility
SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse was created for work wherever mobility, quick readiness and freedom of movement count. Thanks to the 230V supply the machine suits a modern workshop as well as assembly, service and field work, offering advanced welding capability in practically any location. The compact build makes it easy to transport and carry between workstations, while keeping the functionality typical of much larger industrial wire welders. The option of running large wire spools improves comfort, reduces how often the wire has to be changed and keeps output high even in intensive use.
As standard the machine stands on stable feet that hold it firmly during welding. The set also includes transport wheels, which can be fitted quickly to make the machine easier to move around the workshop or the workstation.
Another advantage is the intelligent cooling control system (Fan Stop), which runs the fan only when it is needed. That means quieter operation, less dirt drawn inside and longer component life.
Longer working reach, fewer limits
A well planned cable configuration3-metre welding torch, earth lead and mains lead, gives real freedom of work on large parts and reduces the need to move the machine often. The 3-metre gas hose with a quick coupling speeds up connection and keeps the workstation organised, which makes the work more efficient.
