SPARTUS XPro TIG 200P DC is a modern welding power source for users who expect high TIG weld quality, wide setup options and a machine they can carry, with no compromise on working parameters. TIG HF / TIG Lift, easy striking and full arc control
SPARTUS XPro TIG 200P DC offers two ways of striking the TIG arc, contactless HF and TIG Lift. HF striking lets you begin work quickly and comfortably without touching the material with the electrode, which limits the risk of tungsten in the weld. Lift mode gives stable striking where electromagnetic interference has to be kept down.
A stable arc characteristic and precise control of the settings give high weld quality on stainless steel, mild steel and other materials welded with TIG DC.
TIG Pulse and Cold Weld, more control over welding energy
The machine has an advanced TIG Pulse mode that allows precise control of the amount of energy put into the material. Pulse makes the weld pool easier to hold, cuts distortion and improves the look of the welds, above all on thin parts.
The Cold Weld function cuts the amount of heat passed into the material even further. It works well on thin sheet, on parts where appearance matters and anywhere that discolouring and deformation of the material have to be kept to a minimum.
Professional ergonomics, 2T/4T and extended control
SPARTUS XPro TIG 200P DC is prepared for comfortable work during short welding operations and during long production runs alike. 2T and 4T modes let you match the torch trigger to the job and make longer welding easier on the operator.
The machine offers wide options for remote control of the welding current. It works with torches fitted with a microswitch, with potentiometer control and with foot control. The operator can set the machine up to suit personal preference and the type of work, keeping full control of the welding process without stopping.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
SPARTUS XPro TIG 200P DC has high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which means stable, interference free work in a demanding industrial setting. - VRD, more safety through a lower open circuit voltage.
