The industrial TIG inverter welder PATON™ MasterTIG-200 AC/DC is a technically advanced unit made for demanding professional users and for industrial work. The design is based on modern inverter technology, which gives a stable arc, precise control of the parameters and reliable operation even under heavy use.
The unit works across a broad set of modes: direct current (DC), alternating current (AC), pulse (PULSE) and alternating pulse, so the welding process can be matched to the material and to the needs of the operator. The main working mode,TIG, welds many kinds of metal, among them:

- carbon and alloy steel,
- non ferrous metals,
- copper and its alloys.
The unit also offers a SPOT mode for spot welding and the option of working with covered electrodes in MMA mode, which makes the welder very versatile.
An important function of the unit is the CLEAN mode, meant for electrochemical cleaning of stainless steel parts. It removes oxides and discolouration produced during welding and it also polishes the surface. This mode needs a special electrolyte fluid for passivating high alloy steels, without it cleaning and polishing is not possible.
