The Victor Thermal Dynamics 60 A is a plasma cutter with the cutting current set steplessly from 20 A to 60 A, supplied from a 400 V mains. It severs carbon steel up to 32 mm, and clean cutting ends at 20 mm. Weight about 19 kg, gas cooling.
What this machine is for
This is a tool for a fabrication shop, a metal shop and for dismantling and cutting scrap. The range from 20 A to 60 A covers both thin sheet and heavier flat bar, and the stepless setting lets you match the current to the material with no jumps. In severance cutting you go through 32 mm of carbon steel, and for a cut with an even edge the limit of 20 mm counts.
The striking works without a high frequency circuit, in the SureLok technology with a contact start. Thanks to that you cut next to CNC controllers, computers and packing machines without the risk of hanging them up, which with plasma cutters using HF ignition can be a real problem.
The Ventilation on Demand system starts the fans only when they are needed, so less grinding dust gets inside. The machine works with the SL60 1Torch, for which you buy consumables easily and cheaply. The housing is compact, and a weight of about 19 kg means you carry it to the station in one hand, with no trolley.

What to watch out for
The supply is 400 V. Cooling is by air, there is no liquid circuit here. The record gives no requirements for the working gas and no compressor output, so settle them before you start it up, because the air has to be dry and free of oil.
Nozzles and electrodes are consumables, so check them before the first cut. The record does not list an earth cable or spare parts, so confirm the equipment before you buy.

This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
