Materials and construction
The 23-7702 cap is made of specially selected, thicker cotton that keeps you warm when working in mild to moderate winter conditions. The key property of the fabric is its flame retardancy, achieved with the same process as used for the specialist Fire Fox™ hoods. This means that stray sparks and small spatter will not set the fabric alight. The stretch beanie cut gives a universal fit and good comfort, forming a soft, cushioning layer between the hard headgear of the welding helmet and your head. The fabric has also been sanforised, so the cap keeps its original shape and size even after repeated washing.

The safety of the 23-7702 cap comes from its dual role in the protection system. First, the flame-retardant cotton is the first line of defence against thermal hazards and protects your scalp.
