Technical Details and Certification
Materials and Construction
The strength of this sleeve comes from top-quality grade A split cowhide with a guaranteed minimum thickness of 1 mm. It forms a solid barrier against molten metal spatter, intense radiant heat and mechanical damage. All seams are double-stitched with 5-ply DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread, the strongest on the market, which does not melt or burn and keeps the construction intact even in extreme conditions. The 35 cm length and the elastic at both ends give a secure, close fit that covers the whole forearm, an area particularly exposed to injury, especially when welding out of position.
Safety and Certification
The 44-7028 arm protector, part of the Lava Brown™ line, is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 2/A1+A2. This is the highest possible level of protection for welding clothing, intended for the most hazardous work with large amounts of spatter and intense heat. Class 2 confirms its effectiveness against the hazards of MMA welding, FCAW and gouging. When you choose this model, you invest in safety certified and tested by TÜV.
