Materials and construction
The neck protector is made of an innovative, washable 255 g/m² cotton fabric that has been impregnated to give it durable flame-retardant properties. The name "COOL" refers to the key features of the material, its low weight and high breathability, which noticeably improve air circulation and moisture wicking. It does not refer to any active cooling technology. The key distinguishing feature of the European version is its antistatic finish, which prevents electrical charges from building up on the surface of the garment. This is essential for work in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX zones), where a single spark can lead to disaster.
