Materials and Construction
The head wrap is made of high-quality flame-retardant cotton with a fabric weight of 305 g/m². Thanks to its dense weave, this specialist material forms an effective barrier against sparks and small spatter while keeping the key properties of cotton: low weight and very good breathability. The whole construction is sewn with 3-ply twisted KEVLAR® thread, which resists high temperature and tearing, so the head wrap stays intact even in a demanding welding environment. The Doo-Rag (bandana) cut gives a very good fit on the head and is comfortable to wear under any welding helmet.
Safety and Certification
The Fire Fox™ head wrap is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 1 (A1+A2), granted by the independent TÜV institute. Class 1 is intended for protection during manual welding techniques that produce small amounts of spatter and low radiant heat. When you choose this product, you can be sure that your head protection meets strict European safety standards.
