Materials and Construction Analysis
The effectiveness of the 44-5030V cover is based on carefully selected cowhide split leather. The same material that Weldas uses in its certified Class 2 protective clothing guarantees exceptional resistance to thermal and mechanical factors. The thick leather effectively insulates the cables from the hot spatter produced in MMA or MIG/MAG welding, preventing the insulation from burning through and causing costly failures. A key element that shows the uncompromising quality of Weldas is the KEVLAR® thread used for all seams. Unlike standard threads, KEVLAR® does not melt or lose strength at high temperature, which eliminates the risk of the cover falling apart at the least expected moment. The practical hook-and-loop closure makes the cover much easier to use and lets you quickly protect the cables or inspect them without time-consuming disconnection of the equipment.
