ARC 225 inverter welder for welding with covered electrodes on direct current (DC).
If you belong to the people who like proven and dependable products, take a look at the description below of the ARC 225 inverter welder for welding with covered electrodes on direct current (DC). It is meant for welding with rutile and basic electrodes up to 5 mm on various steel grades (low carbon, low alloy, stainless and so on) and on cast iron. The ARC 225 welder has a digital welding current display and a simple system of indicator lamps. The LEDs on the front panel report the connection to the mains (green LED) or a shutdown caused by overload (red LED). During work you will also make good use of the electronically controlled stepless welding current adjustment and of the dedicated overload protection.
The ARC 225 inverter welder has functions that make welding easier:
HOT START: raises the welding current while the arc is being struck, so the electrode ignites more easily
, ARC FORCE (arc dynamics): shortens the arc while the welding current rises, which improves the transfer of molten electrode drops onto the workpiece and keeps the arc from going out when the electrode touches the material
, ANTI STICK: limits the welding current so that the electrode does not stick to the workpiece
The ARC 225 inverter welder can also weld with the TIG method once a torch with a gas valve is connected. The arc is struck by touch, by scratching the tungsten electrode on the workpiece (TIG Scratch). Small size and low weight mean that the ARC 225 inverter welder for welding with covered electrodes on direct current (DC) is used for repair work in the shop and for jobs carried out on site. A solid shoulder strap makes carrying it easier.
