POWER ARC 200 – inverter welding machine for welding with covered electrodes with direct current (DC).

POWER ARC 200 inverter welder is mainly designed for welding with rutile and basic electrodes up to 5 mm of various grades of steel (low carbon, low alloyed, stainless, etc.) and cast iron. LEDs on the front panel indicate connection to power (green LED), shutdown due to overload (yellow LED) or activation of the VRD function (green LED). The device is equipped with electronically controlled stepless welding current control in the range of 18-205A and overload protection. The fan starts automatically only when the welder is overloaded.

On the front panel of the POWER ARC 200 inverter welder, there is a switch to change the welding method:
– MMA rutile or basic electrode
– MMA cellulose electrode
– TIG LIFT.

Additional features of the POWER ARC 200 welder

– HOT START (hot start): increases welding current during arc ignition to facilitate electrode ignition
– ARC FORCE (arc dynamics): shortens the arc length when increasing the welding current optimizing the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode comes into contact with the welded material
– ANTI STICK: limits the welding current by preventing the electrode from sticking to the material being welded

The inverter welding machine for welding with direct current (DC) covered electrodes can weld using the TIG method after connecting a gas valve handle. The welding arc is struck by contact between the tungsten electrode and the material to be welded, and then lifted (TIG Lift). The use of the MMA/TIG LIFT switch makes it possible to change the characteristics during TIG arc ignition and, consequently, facilitates arc ignition, increases the life of the tungsten electrode, reduces the frequency of its sharpening and leads to a better weld.

The small and lightweight design makes the POWER ARC 200 inverter welding machine for direct current (DC) covered electrode welding suitable for repair work in workshop conditions as well as for work in the field. Transport is facilitated by equipping the welder with a fixed transport handle.
