What it is for
The nozzle forms the gas shield around the contact tip and the weld pool. Replace it when spatter can no longer be removed or the edge is burnt or deformed: the gas shield then gets weaker and the risk of porosity rises.

FAQ
Does it fit the MT torches?
No. This nozzle is from the PP Plus 401 D spare parts list (item 6 on the drawing). The MT torches have their own nozzles, for example 82.16.56753 for the MT 440 W.
What should I replace together with the nozzle?
Check the insulated gas diffuser and the contact tip. If they are covered in spatter or burnt, replace them at the same time.
How many pieces are in the pack?
