Böhler Welding contact tip made of electrolytic copper (ECu) for 1.2 mm aluminium wire (ALU WIRE version), M8 x 1 thread, 30 mm long. It fits the MT 350 G, MT 440 W, MT 540 W (incl. U/D) and PP Plus 401 D.
What it is for
The contact tip transfers current to the wire and guides it into the arc. Replace it when the bore is worn, the arc becomes unstable or the wire feeds unevenly. With aluminium wire, also fit a carbon-PTFE liner instead of a steel one.

FAQ
Which wire is this tip for?
For 1.2 mm wire. The same version in other sizes: 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm and 1.6 mm.
How is it different from a standard tip?
The bore is larger than on a standard tip of the same size, because aluminium wire expands more with heat and could jam in a tight bore. For steel wire, choose the standard tip: ECu M8 1.2 mm.
Does it fit the MT 150 G?
No. The MT 150 G uses M6 tips, 25 mm long, for example ECu for Al wire M6 0.8 mm.
