What it is for
The diffuser distributes the shielding gas inside the nozzle so that it flows evenly around the contact tip. Replace it when the holes are blocked with spatter or when it is cracked or burnt.

Does it fit the MT torches?
In the Böhler 2026/27 price list the diffuser appears only in the PP Plus 401 D spare parts list (item 4 on the drawing).
What else should I check when replacing it?
The gas nozzle (82.02.012) and the tip holder. If the nozzle is covered in spatter, replace it together with the diffuser.
How many pieces are in the pack?
10 pieces. The price shown is for the whole pack.
