Frequently asked questions
How does the Clear Pro differ from the standard Eyewear Clear?
Marking and UV filter are the same. The Clear Pro adds an anti-fog coating, large temples with soft pads and an upper shield. The basic version is the Eyewear Clear (Böhler Welding Eyewear Clear safety glasses).
Can I wear them under a grinding visor?
The manual of the Big Vision grinding visor (Böhler Welding Big Vision grinding visor) recommends wearing impact resistant safety glasses underneath. The Clear Pro have impact rating F to EN 166.
Do they protect against the welding arc?
No. These are glasses with a UV filter marked 2-1.2, not a welding filter. For gas welding there is the IR5 model (Böhler Welding Eyewear IR5 gas welding glasses); for arc welding you need a welding helmet.
Can I buy a single pair?
Yes, we sell them per piece with a VAT invoice. The manufacturer packs them in dispenser boxes of 20. We ship across the European Union.
