What it is for
The remote lets you control the machine from your workplace instead of walking to the power source panel when it stands far from the joint. The 25 m version suits a cable route from the machine to your workplace of up to 25 m. The remote control selection guide in the price list does not cover the RC 180, so we do not list its functions. If you need a specific function, compare the RC 100 and RC 200 or ask us before ordering.

What is the difference between RC 180 and RC 18?
In the price list both measure 160 x 40 x 50 mm and weigh 0.7 kg. The RC 18 uses analogue communication and is for CORE machines, while the RC 180 communicates via CAN bus and is listed for TERRA, TERRA NX and URANOS NX. According to the compatibility lists they are not interchangeable.
Does the RC 180 adjust voltage?
The price list does not say. According to the selection guide, voltage adjustment is available for example on the RC 200.
Which cable length should I choose?
Measure the cable route from the machine to your workplace and add a reserve. The RC 180 comes in three versions: 6 m (71.02.198), 10 m (71.02.19801) and 25 m (71.02.19804).
