What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for aluminium and its alloys. Al99.5 is a wire for commercially pure aluminium. Pure argon is the standard shield for aluminium, copper and nickel alloys. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.
