This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for Al99,5 (ER1050) class wires, 0.8 mm diameter, with I1 shielding gas. It covers short arc and spray arc, in manual and synergic mode.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for aluminium and its alloys. Al99.5 is a wire for commercially pure aluminium. Pure argon is the standard shield for aluminium, copper and nickel alloys. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.
