This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for CrNi 19 12 3 (ER316) class wires, 1.6 mm diameter, with M12 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas M12 (79.P1.057).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M12. For Z choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas Z (79.S1.061).
