What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count.

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.6 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.057).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 19 12 3 (ER316) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with Thermanit GE 316L Si, choose the program tuned to it: PulseDrive Thermanit GE 316L Si 1.6 mm, gas M12 (79.P1.05799).
