This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for CuSi3 (ERCuSi) class wires, 0.8 mm diameter, with M12 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for copper and bronzes. CuSi3 wire is also used for MIG brazing of galvanised sheet. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CuSi3 (ERCuSi) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
