This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with CuSi3 (ERCuSi) class wires, 1.0 mm, with M12 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for copper and bronzes. CuSi3 wire is also used for MIG brazing of galvanised sheet. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M12. M12 is argon with a small CO2 addition, a typical gas for stainless steel. For I1 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas I1 (79.S1.099).
