What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for copper and bronzes. CuSi3 wire is also used for MIG brazing of galvanised sheet.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.099).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for I1. Pure argon is the standard shield for aluminium, copper and nickel alloys. For M12 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.103).
