This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with diamondspark 1100 MC wire, 1.0 mm, with M20 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.19899).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to diamondspark 1100 MC. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
