What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if it is a metal-cored wire (MFCW) for unalloyed steel. The spool label will not show the abbreviation MFCW, so if in doubt send us the wire name before ordering.
