This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for Union AlMg4,5 Mn wire, 1.2 mm diameter, with I3 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Use it on aluminium, where stable wire feeding and a well-matched arc make a real difference.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas I3 (79.P1.15299).
Can I use another ER5183 wire?
The curves are tuned to Union AlMg4,5 Mn. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
