This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with Union AlMg5 wire, 1.2 mm, with I1 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Use it on aluminium, where stable wire feeding and a well-matched arc make a real difference. AlMg5 is used on aluminium-magnesium alloys.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?

Can I use another ER5356 wire?
