This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for Union X 77 IG CL wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. Wires of this group are used on high-strength steels, for example in construction machinery, cranes and trailers. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
