This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for UTP AF ROBOTIC 601 wire, 1.6 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. This is classic MIG/MAG without pulse: short arc at lower currents and spray arc at higher ones.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. This is a surfacing program: you use it to apply a layer that protects a surface or restores its dimensions.

Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position. The PulseDrive version of this program: PulseDrive 1.6 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.26999).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to UTP AF ROBOTIC 601. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
