What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on aluminium, where stable wire feeding and a well-matched arc make a real difference. AlMg5 is used on aluminium-magnesium alloys.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. Give the machine model and serial number with your order so we can confirm compatibility with its software. Whether our service installs it or it comes as a manufacturer update is settled after the order.
PulseDrive or QuickPulse?
QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, higher deposition rate, a more concentrated arc and less heat. It covers fewer machines, not URANOS NX 2700. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.QP.109).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the AlMg5 (ER5356) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with Union AlMg5, choose the program tuned to it: PulseDrive Union AlMg5 1.6 mm, gas I1 (79.P1.10999).
