This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with BÖHLER EMK 6 wire, 0.6 mm, with M20 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. The 0.6 mm diameter suits thin sheet and small, precise welds.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 0.6 mm, gas M20 (79.S1.01199).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. For M21 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 0.6 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.00699).
