This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for CrNi 13 4 FCW (E410) class wires, 1.2 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work.

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.083).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 13 4 FCW (E410) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
