This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for CrNi 18 8 (ER307) class wires, 0.8 mm diameter, with M12 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count.

Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 0.8 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.045).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 18 8 (ER307) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
