This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with Union X 96 wire, 1.2 mm, with M21 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

PulseDrive or QuickPulse?

Can I use another ER120S-G wire?
The curves are tuned to Union X 96. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
