This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for UTP RB CHROMELESS 600 wire, 1.2 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. This is a surfacing program: you use it to apply a layer that protects a surface or restores its dimensions. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

FAQ
Will this program work on my machine?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.29599).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to UTP RB CHROMELESS 600. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
