What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter.
