This QuickPulse program runs the T.MAP process for Thermanit 309L Si wire, 1.2 mm, with M12 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits QuickPulse with faster welding, better penetration and a more stable arc.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count. 23 12 wires are used, among other things, to join stainless to unalloyed steel.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects.
Can I use another ER309LSi wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit 309L Si. The Universal ARC line has programs for the CrNi 23 12 (ER309) class, but not in this combination of family, diameter and gas. Ask us before ordering.
