This program runs the advanced T.MAP RapiDeep process for BÖHLER Q G3 wire, 0.8 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. The manufacturer lists a more stable arc, less heat and fewer weld defects for RapiDeep.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it for unalloyed and low-alloy steels in the workshop and in production. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.

RapiDeep or QuickPulse?
The price list gives both T.MAP processes the same benefits. QuickPulse is listed only for machines that also run PulseDrive, while RapiDeep also runs on TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.QP.01297).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter. For M21 choose a separate program: RapiDeep 0.8 mm, gas M21 (79.RD.00797).
