This program runs the advanced T.MAP RapiDeep process for Thermanit GE 316L Si wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M12 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits RapiDeep with faster welding, better penetration and a more concentrated arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels.

FAQ
Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. TERRA NX 400/500 MSE and URANOS NX 2700 PMC and MTE are not listed for RapiDeep. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does RapiDeep differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive is standard synergic welding with short and spray arc. RapiDeep is a T.MAP process: per the price list faster welding, better penetration and a more concentrated arc with less heat. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.05599).
Can I use another ER316LSi wire?
The curves are tuned to Thermanit GE 316L Si. The Universal ARC line has programs for the CrNi 19 12 3 (ER316) class, but not in this combination of family, diameter and gas. Ask us before ordering.
