PRAKTIK TIG 200 AC/DC is a portable inverter welder built on IGBT technology. It welds TIG and TIG PULSE with alternating (AC) and direct (DC) current, and with coated electrodes (MMA) on direct current. You can use it on all metals, including aluminium and stainless steel. It is small and light, so it suits the workshop and site work.

- TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE: stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steel, copper, titanium.
- TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE: aluminium and its alloys, brass.
- TIG PULSE: you influence the weld shape and how focused the arc is, and less heat goes into the material. This helps with thin materials.
- Ignition: contactless (HF) or touch (LIFT). Choose LIFT where electromagnetic interference can affect the surroundings. In both modes the torch button works in 2T or 4T (latch for long welds).
- Digital panel: pre-gas and post-gas, start, welding, base and end current, current up-slope and down-slope time, pulse width and frequency, AC frequency and balance.
- ARC FORCE (MMA): short-circuit current adjustment. Droplets pass into the weld pool more easily, and the arc does not go out when it touches the pool.
- HOT START (MMA): a higher current at each strike makes the electrode easier to ignite.
- ANTI STICK (MMA): when the electrode sticks, the voltage switches off. It is easier to pull free and no accidental arc forms.
- Design: fan cooling, overload protection, quick gas coupling for the torch, no tools needed.
