Description
PRAKTIK TIG 200 AC/DC is a professional inverter welder for TIG welding of all metals including aluminum and stainless steel. The device allows TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC) and MMA methods
PRAKTIK TIG 200 AC/DC is a portable power source, made with IGBT technology, designed for TIG and TIG PULS welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA method with direct current (DC) covered electrode. The small size and weight make the device ideal for both workshop and field work.
The device has welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULS, TIG AC, TIG AC PULS, MMA.
The TIG DC and TIG DC PULS function is used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper and titanium.
TIG AC and TIG AC PULS function: allows welding of aluminum and its alloys and brass.
By adjusting the parameters of TIG PULS pulse welding, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.
The arc is engaged in either non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in environments with a high risk of being affected by electromagnetic interference to the environment.
With both HF non-contact ignition and LIFT touch ignition, we have the option to choose the function of the button on the TIG handle between 2-takt or 4-takt operation (button lock for long welds).
The easy-to-read and easy-to-use digital control panel allows accurate adjustment of the device, ensures stable parameters and high quality welding.
The digital display makes it easy to adjust the welder’s parameters:
initial discharge of shielding gas
initial current
current rise time
welding current
base current
current fall time
final current
final discharge of shielding gas
pulse length
pulse frequency
AC frequency
AC balas
The welder also has features to facilitate the MMA welding process with covered electrode:
ARC FORCE: short-circuit current control – facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the material being welded, preventing the arc from being extinguished when the electrode droplet comes into contact with the welding pool
HOT START: hot start control – facilitates electrode ignition by providing more welding current each time the arc is struck.
ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit – automatically shuts off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the material being welded, which makes it easier to peel off and prevents accidental welding arc.
Physical parameters
The device has a fan-cooling system which definitely increases its efficiency.
The quick-connect gas connection to the welding gun allows the welding gun to be connected and disconnected instantly without tools.
The device is equipped with overload protection, which increases its reliability.
Power supply parameters
Single-phase power supply 230V. The device is equipped with a power plug.
Equipment
The delivery includes a device with a set of TIG and MMA accessories: a 4-meter-long TIG 17 welding gun, a 3-meter-long MMA electrode cable, a 2-meter-long ground cable.
Warranty conditions
Warranty 12 months for professional use. Warranty service is provided door-to-door without transportation costs on the user’s side.
