The Kjellberg Focus S25 is a liquid cooled plasma power source for machine cutting on CNC tables. The record gives a cutting current up to 60 A. The system works on air, oxygen, nitrogen and H2O water mist.
What this machine is for
This is a power source for automated cutting, for gantry cutting machines and CNC tables, and not for hand work. You cut mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, and water mist as the swirl gas raises the density of the arc. The result is a small heat affected zone, no discolouration and a surface ready for welding.
The power source has communication ports for torch height control and for reading the parameters, so you plug it into the control of the cutting machine and hold the repeatability of the parts. The Focus-Start system manages the gas at ignition, so the nozzle and the electrode wear more slowly.
The edge stays square for longer than in simpler cutters, where the bevel angle grows as the nozzle wears, so you have less rework in the shop and less waste.

What to watch out for

The name of the unit and the description point to different variants, so confirm the configuration before you buy.
Liquid cooling: flush the circuit, check the pump and the tightness before the first strike. The record gives no supply voltage and no weight, so settle them before you connect and transport the machine. For cutting you add a machine torch, a cable package, a gas console and a CNC interface, and the record does not list them. Nozzles and electrodes are consumables.

This unit was checked in our service workshop in Krotoszyn with measurements to PN-EN 60974-4 and a load test. The price includes the first year of the basic service package: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement. Further years can be added. We ship across the European Union, collection in person by appointment.
