Technology review
The heart of the SUPERMIG 500 DP is Double Pulse (Dual Puls) technology, which by modulating the current and the pulse frequency gives full control over the appearance and the parameters of the weld. The result is the characteristic "ripple", close in appearance to a TIG weld, while the output of the MIG/MAG method is kept. This is the key point when welding stainless steel and aluminium. Full synergy automates the setting up, after you select the type of material, the gas and the wire diameter the machine picks the optimum parameters itself and leaves only the current adjustment to the operator. The modular build with a separate feeder and cooling unit gives flexibility, a long working reach and the ability to weld for a long time at maximum power without the risk of overheating the torch.
