After the arc goes out, standard filters switch from dark to light instantly, which can cause brief discomfort and eye fatigue. FadeTronic® technology solves this problem with smooth, gradual brightening of the filter, adjustable from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds. This process is much more natural for the human eye, because it lets the eye adapt gently to the change in light. It reduces eye strain and glare, which matters especially in tack welding and in work that involves striking and extinguishing the arc frequently.

The advanced electronics of the helmet are powered by a strong hybrid “re-charge” system.
